Members Only

General Requirements (all members):

• Member in good standing of a California-based AKC Sanctioned, Licensed, or Member Retriever Club.<Click here for List of Member Clubs>

• Good Sportsman

• Good Character

• No recent occasion of any of the following:

  • Abuse of a dog
  • Abuse of grounds
    

• Not under suspension by AKC

• All memberships are annual for the calendar year.

• In future years, if the number of memberships are limited, priority will be given to previous year members. 

Professional Memberships:

• Professional dog trainers (as defined by AKC)  who want to use the CRTA grounds for exercising and/or professional training of retrievers.

• This category of membership is for California professional dog trainers as well as for out-of-state professional trainers. There may be special restrictions or prohibitions imposed on Saturdays and Sundays, giving Individual Members priority for use on weekends of high levels of use. 

Participating Guests:

• Non-member amateur dog handlers must accompany and train with host individual or professional CRTA members.

• Fee for guests is $35/day per person.

Annual Professional Membership:

• Professional: $1000

   

• Spouse: $500
