Denverton Property: The Denverton property consists of 937 acres approximately 10 miles east of the Highway 12 exit off Interstate 80 in Fairfield.
Located on the northern edge of San Francisco Bay tidal estuary in the Suisun Marsh, the grounds are bordered on the north by state Highway 12, and on the east, west, and south by duck clubs and the Denverton Slough.
The marshland portions of the Denverton grounds, formerly a duck club, are similar to the Grizzly Island Wildlife Area. The Denverton grounds have three technical ponds developed adjacent to the 200 acres of upland grasses. |
